 Dia de los Muertos - Day of the Dead Ritual

Day of the Dead is a traditional festival originating with the Aztecs and is celebrated throughout Mexico and even in the U.S. Families gather at cemeteries with food and traditions include feasting and dancing to remember their departed loved ones. At home altars are built to hold photos and momentos of their loved ones as well as candles, marigolds and favorite foods of their ancestors.

We will be building a community altar to remember your departed relatives and friends. Join us as we celebrate and honor the ancestors!

What to bring: photos of loved ones who have passed, favorite food of an ancestor to share, marigolds.

Event Fee:  $5

Tortas Ahogadas GDL will also be serving dinner on the event.

Price of the event does not include food.
